Schecter hellcat vi vs fender bass vi. My style is a little bit more guitar y than many players. Schecter usa monstertone stack. Labella made a set of strings for it that had like a 95 low end string or whatever the heavier gauge is that you need for good bass tone.
Best played imho though a bass amp to do it justice and accentuate the lower frequencies. No its not a vintage 60s fender bass vi. The schecter is very well made and was much less fussy than the fender set up wise.

A bass vi tuned e e an octave down with heavy bass vi strings. The much more expensive fender bass vi reissues. In fact reading through the forums it was apparent that a number of players preferred the hellcat vi vs.
